We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Parent Governor to join our Governing Board at Wargrave House School, a non-maintained special school supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
This is a rewarding voluntary role and a chance to make a real difference to the lives of pupils and families.

The Role
As a Parent Governor, you will be a full and equal member of the Governing Board, working with other governors and senior leaders to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the school.
Parent Governors bring an important parental perspective to discussions, but do not represent individual parents or deal with individual concerns. The role is strategic rather than operational and does not involve day-to-day involvement in the running of the school.
As Parent Governor, you will:
The time commitment is approximately 6–10 hours per month, and some meetings may take place during the school day.
